Amber Heard Blames Bed ‘Poo’ On Johnny Depp’s Dog
The dogs did it!
Amber Heard launched into her defamation trial, focusing on the allegation she had defecated in the marital bed she shared with ex-husband Johnny Depp. The 36-Year-Old testified the actor had initially accused her friend of leaving the human fecal matter on the side of his bed at their apartment in LA following a fight on the night of her 30th birthday in April 2016.
“First of all, I don’t think that’s funny. I was not, also, in a pranking mood. My life was falling apart,” Heard said as the couple’s trial resumed in Virginia after a break.
The Aquaman actress claimed their dog Boo had lifelong bowel control issues because she had eaten a bag of Depp’s weed as a puppy. “I had just been attacked on my 30th birthday by my violent husband, with whom I was desperately in love and knew I needed to leave. It was not a jovial time and I don’t think that’s funny period.”
Heard then finally insisted: “That’s disgusting.”
Previously, Depp had accused Heard of leaving the feces in their bed after a fight, shortly before she headed off to Coachella with her friends. But in a twist, the actress said she was getting ready to travel to the music festival with a friend and had left Boo and their other dog, Pistol, on their bed while she packed her luggage.
She recalled when she refused to name Depp as her alleged attacker after police officers were called to the then couple’s LA apartment in May 2016.
“I did not want them to arrest Johnny. I just refused to cooperate,” Heard said. The next day, Depp allegedly sent Heard a text message, branding her shameless for permitting her friend to work out of the penthouse and even reportedly brought up the idea of getting a divorce. “I tried to make it work, and you just turned more and more into a spoiled brat. All you wanted were wars to make the f***ing miserable. Well, I’m finally there; I’ll never be able to understand how I fell in love with you,” he wrote, as seen in the text message shown.
When her attorney Elaine Bredehoft asked if they had discussed divorce the night before, Heard said: “We didn’t discuss divorce. He was obsessed with dog poop.”
Earlier in the trial, the Pirates of the Caribbean star had shared he planned to stop by the apartment to recover some belongings when someone sent him a pic of what he described as a human fecal matter on his side of the bed. “My initial response to that was, I mean, I laughed. It was so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh. They’re teacups, Yorkies. They weigh about 4 pounds each. I lived with those dogs. I picked up their funk. It was not the dogs,” Depp had said, adding that Heard tried to blame it on the dogs.
