Elon Musk Names His Newborn Son X Æ A-12 And Internet Can’t Get Enough Of It
It’s speculated he’s named after a secret CIA spy plane!
Singer Grimes and Elon Musk recently announced the birth of their 1st child, revealing their newly-born son is named Æ A-12. The very rare-kind-of-name instantly had fans guessing what it means while also trying to pronounce the series of numbers and letters.
Some fans went to the extent of suggesting that the a-e ligature can be pronounced Ash while pointing to the X in SpaceX. It seems the given name might have equally been slightly motivated by one of the songs of Grimes, 32, whose real name is Claire Boucher.

A few pointed out that the Lockheed A-12 was developed for the Central Intelligence Agency. It wasn’t, however, immediately clear if the new father Elon Musk was playing a prank with his followers with such a name, but others did joke it would definitely be tough on teachers.
On announcing the birth of a son, Musk aged 48 uploaded photos of him carrying the baby boy with a quirky tattoo filter included on the newborn’s face. He had earlier revealed the happy news via Twitter with a caption that read: ‘Mom & baby all good!’
On telling fans the baby’s name, Musk, a Twitter User explained that the name could possibly mean X for SpaceX, A-13 for the main SR-71 designation, and AE for After Earth.
Another user uploaded links to the pages, revealing the rare stream of letters could mean: ‘Ash Lockheed Musk.’ Period!
While a lot of users tried to decipher what the name actually means, some also pointed out that the name was confusing. ‘The hilarious moment when all the names in the world are taken, so you just smash all the letters on the keyboard.’ A third user added.
