To Have And Have Not

Previously married couple Humphrey Bogart and Mayo Methot, Bogart was a friend of Lauren Bacall and they starred together in ‘To Have And Have Not’. “We knew things were happening. He had that sort of smile you can still see on the screen,” said co-star Dan Seymour.
Mentally unstable Methot was obviously unhappy, so Bogart quickly escaped the abusive relationship and they got married until his death in 1957.
