‘Borderlands’ Games Is Getting An Adaptation And Directed By Eli Roth
The project has been ongoing for almost 5 years now.
Gearbox’s ‘Borderlands’ trilogy game is being made into a film, but it’s not a new thing anymore. The project has been happening since 2015 and Lionsgate finally has a man to head this project. Eli Roth is entering the scene, excited for what’s to come as he tweeted a picture of himself cropped on a muscled psycho typical of the apocalyptic realm of ‘Borderlands’.

‘Chernobyl’ Craig Mazin along with producers Avi and Ari Arad are also tied to the project. Roth mentioned in a press release that he’s excited to add his own original idea and twist to the endless mad ride of the universe. Meanwhile, Nathan Kane of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group is confident of what the team is capable to do.
“With Eli’s vision and Craig’s screenplay, we believe we have cracked the code on bringing the anarchic world of Borderlands to the big screen in a big way that will be a fresh, compelling and cinematic event for moviegoers and fans of the game,” said the president.
Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford is also an executive producer of the movie and is ‘incredibly supportive’ of Roth’s ideas.
