Save the planet! Carbon footprint declining!

2020’s Academy Awards portrayed that both organizers and attendees tried to be more sustainable as well as demonstrated their effort in becoming more carbon neutral.

Held a few days back, the Award embraced plant-based, vegan appetizer before the ceremony. Luncheon, the organizers of the annual Oscar Nominees surprisingly introduced a plant-based menu.

In an earlier released statement reported by The Independent, the Academy Of Motion Pictures, Arts And Science had said: ‘The Academy is an organization of storytellers from across the world. We owe our global membership a commitment to supporting the planet.’

‘And for the past decades, the Academy has been committed to reducing its carbon footprint. The Oscars, for the past seven years, has had a net-zero carbon imprint. We will continue to expand our sustainability plan with the actual goal of becoming carbon neutral.’

Fortunately, attendees at the Awards show trailed the same route. A lot of the attendees chose to take a more eco-friendly approach when selecting their outfit. Instead of purchasing a new, custom made gowns, a handful of celebs decided to recycle their earlier worn attire.
