Shopper Claims He Found Only One Bean In His Can Of Heinz Beanz
What are the odds?
41-year-old Steve Smith was looking to get a quick breakfast from Tesco online and grabbed this can of Heinz Beanz. But he had to quickly think of another menu because upon opening the can he couldn’t find anything but the sauce and a single bean.
That’s right. One. Single. Bean.
Speaking to DailyMail, the local councilor of Westbury-on-Trym and Henleaze said, “I got back late from a residents’ meeting and wanted some food. I poured out the tin and I found one bean. I thought it was funny – but annoying! It was the last tin we had in the cupboard.
“I had to have scrambled egg instead.”
Meanwhile, a can of Heinz Beanz should contain about 465 beans.
Mr. Smith took it to Twitter and posted a video on it, captioning: “I enjoy ”bean juice” as much as the next person, but when I opened a can this evening I was hoping for more than one bean.”
He didn’t forget to tag the manufacturer.
The company replied to him: “Hi Steve, sorry to see this, please DM us your details and codes from underneath the can, thanks.”
But seriously, beans on toast instead of scrambled eggs? He got his priorities wrong, didn’t he.
