‘Terrifier 2’ Causes Viewers To Vomit & Faint In Cinema, Called The Most Depraved Film Ever
Terrifier 2 is so disturbing that it’s making people pass out.
The spooky season is upon us, so it’s time to be frightened. Many people have, well, get a taste of it with a new horror movie, “Terrifier 2,” directed by Damien Leone. The uncompromised film that’s literally scaring people sick is a sequel to Terrifier, focused on a psychotic killer clown named Art The Clown.
In the new blood-splattered sequel, the homicidal clown gets resurrected, whereupon he terrorizes a teen girl and her brother on Halloween.
Bloody Disgusting reported that Terrifier 2 is so graphic viewers are vomiting and passing out in their seats. The indie horror flick has so far played in over 850 theaters nationwide and is lauded for its extreme violence that harks back to the goresploitation flicks of yore. John Squires of Bloody Disgusting said of the new film: “It’s the kind of horror movie that just doesn’t really exist anymore.”
Following its release, viewers have flocked to social media to share stories of how the film made them lose their lunch.
“The guy behind me passed out cold n crashed into my chair. Another guy left because he didn’t feel good, I overheard him say and walking out theater door I head a guy puking hard & loud in the bathroom,” someone wrote on Twitter. Another exclaimed, sharing a pic of the viewer being tended to by paramedics: “My friend passed out and the theater called an ambulance. Highly recommended.”
A third wrote: “Terrifier 2 is so gory I puked in my popcorn.”
FYI, David Howard Thornton stars as the killer clown, and in an interview, he has reflected on the grisly audition that landed him the part. He told Screen Rant: “Oddly enough, I just responded to an open audition notice on Actor’s Access. They needed a tall, skinny guy to play Art [who] had physical comedy experience or clowning experience – Oh my God, that sounds perfect for me.”
Thornton added that he already knew the character because he had seen All Hallows Eve.
The actor continued: “Oh my God, I would love to have a chance to do something interesting with this character. I just went in and auditioned for it, and the rest is history. I had to improvise my whole entire audition on the spot because Art doesn’t talk. I think it’s online somewhere, but the short and sweet version of it [is] I snuck up behind my victim, cartoonishly knocked him out, sawed off his head, picked up the head, and tasted it.”
