Adam Levine Admits He ‘Crossed The Line’ With Model Sumner Stroh After She Leaked Their DMs
Interestingly, Levine even asked if Sumner was OK with him naming his future child after her.
Adam Levine is making headlines. The Maroon 5 lead singer has sparked a frenzy on TikTok after model Sumner Stroh disclosed she had had a yearlong affair with him while backing up the claim with screenshots of their flirtatious conversations.
Sumner admitted to being misled into thinking the singer’s marriage to Behati Prinsloo was over, insisting she feels frankly exploited.
In response to the allegations, Levine has issued a statement via his Instagram. It began: “A lot is being said about me right now, and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair; nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.”
“In certain instances, it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”
The singer, married to Prinsloo since 2014, insisted all he cares about in this world is his wife and family. He added: “To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”
In her TikTok, Sumner had shared their DMs and confidently shared she was having an affair with a man who’s married to Victoria’s Secret model.

She explained at the time, she was young, naïve, and quite frankly felt exploited. Sumner alleged she wasn’t in the scene like she’s now and, as a result, was very easily manipulated. As she showed another alleged DM [pictured below], Sumner claimed that after she stopped talking to Levine for months, he randomly asked if she’d be OK with him naming his future child after her.
“My morals were unknowingly compromised. I was completely manipulated,” Sumner said.
She continued: “I wanted to handle this privately. I never wanted to come forward because obviously, I know the implications of doing what I do – making the money the way I do, being an Instagram model. I know the stereotypes.” Sumner concluded her video, stating she had shared the screenshots with a friend, who then allegedly attempted to sell them to a tabloid.
