Michelle Branch Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Husband Patrick Carney After Claiming He Cheated On Her
An assault report for two slaps that left no visible injury.
Singer Michelle Branch was handcuffed at around 2 in the morning. The 39-year-old had reportedly assaulted her drummer husband, Patrick Carney, which was a slap or two in the face when Nashville police arrived at their residence.
No visible injuries were present, according to the document.
Michelle explained later that their argument began at another location, and they kept at it until they reached their home in Nashville. The couple’s relationship has been very rocky since Branch dropped a bomb on Twitter when she found out about her husband’s affair with his manager while she was home with their 6-month-old daughter.
The tweet that revealed the woman’s information has been deleted, but she’s since spoken up to People and TMZ regarding the shocking affair.
She spoke with the media, “To say that I am totally devastated doesn’t even come close to describing how I feel for myself and for my family. The rug has been completely pulled from underneath me, and now I must figure out how to move forward. With such small children, I ask for privacy and kindness.”
Their relationship began during the production of Branch’s third studio album, “Hopeless Romantic.”
They got married in 2019 and share two children, Rhys James, 4, and Willie, six months. The branch is also the mom of a teen girl, Owen Isabelle, with ex-husband Teddy Landau.
