Johnny Depp Fans Slammed Disney For Posting “Pirates Of The Caribbean” Ad
“Jumped the gun when firing Johnny Depp.”
Disney has been getting a lot of criticism since the verdict ruled Johnny Depp in favor of the Fairfax defamation lawsuit against her ex-wife, Amber Heard. The 58-year-old has also been known as Captain Jack Sparrow from the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise before he was fired.
Last month, Disney celebrated the ride’s 50th anniversary. It was the ride on which the franchise was based.

The ride opened in 1967 and began to rise in popularity in 2003 when the blockbuster hit came out. Along with it was Johnny Depp’s popularity with his slurry, and drunk pirate talks, who became every child’s favorite funny character.
Depp lost his role in the successful franchise and was replaced by Margot Robbie. ‘The Lone Ranger’ star lost his role just days after Heard’s op-ed in Washington Post was published, indirectly calling him out as an abuser.
But while the trial was ongoing, fans were enraged that the main star of a franchise that is now 19 years long was cut off, and Disney continues to profit from the popularity.
Outraged supporters demanded that Disney apologize and read the room.
Not a good time to be drawing attention to POTC. Jack Sparrow was what made those movies, the merchandise, and the ride something special and you as good as killed him off! Noone cared before Depp's Sparrow and noone wants a reminder of what you did to him now!

Really, trying to cash in while you dropped Johnny like a hot potato. You should be ashamed, he made that character, not the director, not the script writers, Johnny himself. I bet you didn’t mind taking the money he was pulling in???

Margot Robbie has been cast to be the next Captain in the sixth film of the franchise. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley have reportedly left the franchise, with Bloom making a cameo appearance in ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’.
The producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that Depp won’t be in the movie but added that “the future is yet to be decided.” However, Depp had made it clear in the trial that he won’t be returning in another Pirates movie for “$300 million and a million alpacas.”
