Ferrari Banned Kim Kardashian From Owning Certain Types Of Their Cars
It doesn’t matter if you’re rich; the Italian brand has got its strict rules.
Kim Kardashian has reportedly joined the line of celebrities banned from owning specific types of Ferraris. Back in 2011, the mom-of-four had been gifted a white $325K Ferrari 458 Italia by a wealthy Malaysian businessman as a gift when she tied the knot with Kris Humphries.
But she was last seen with one in 2012, and it’s unknown if it was owned by her or her ex-husband Kanye West.
With conversations about the ban spreading online, Ferrari has officially clarified their position, saying the 41-Year-Old can purchase series production models but can’t have exclusive models and special editions. “Ferrari reserves the right to decide on special editions,” the brand said in a statement shared with Spanish Newspaper Marca.
Over the years, the Kardashians have been seen in many luxury vehicles, and Kim’s car collection is worth a reported $3.8million.
Her favorites include Rolls Royce, Maybach Sedan, and Lamborghini – all of which have been wrapped in grey to blend in with her house. With this news of being blacklisted, it has only proved that it doesn’t matter if someone is super rich and that the prestigious Italian car brand does have strict rules on who can purchase their vehicles.
Ferrari no doubt has a reputation to uphold & prepared to blacklist anyone for not taking care of their cars.
For example, Justin Bieber had in 2015 purchased a white Ferrari 451 and took it straight to West Coast Customs to change the color. After the modification, the singer auctioned it off, and that’s simply blasphemy in the luxury car world. And as a result, he got blacklisted; also on the list are actor Nicolas Cage and rapper 50 Cent.
