Clara Bell’s life is different from what many women dream of today. When most 18-year-olds are thinking about going out to parties and having fun as young adults, she’s already married to her sweetheart!
She’s turned into a full-time stay-at-home wife who takes care of the house. Clara Bell from Kentucky eloped with her boyfriend and shared about it in a viral TikTok clip with over 5 million views back in October.
The two were out on a getaway for two weeks when Trey casually suggested they got married, and they did!
In a recent clip, Trey shared how it’s going: “When you work from 9 am-9 pm, and she wakes up at 3 pm, goes to TJ Maxx and does her make-up but complains that SHE’S tired.”
While it was a lighthearted joke made as he showed Clara still half asleep on the bed, resting after a day at TJ Maxx. Meanwhile, Clara shared her POV in a different video about a day in her life as a stay-at-home mom, “He leaves pretty early, and I make the bed… well, I tried to make the bed, but Oswald was in the bed.”
Then she got ready for the day to leave for TJ Maxx and said, “I was looking for wall art but didn’t see anything I liked. So then I went to Aldi to get some groceries because we were running a little bit low.”
“When I got home, I was literally so tired from those two stores, so I needed to unwind with some non-alcoholic wine and take a nap.”
She then spent 3 hours napping after coming home and cuddled with her cats while streaming Netflix. She made some burgers for their dinner, Mac’ n cheese, cinnamon rolls, but since Trey gets home late, she ended up eating hers first.
She was about to take out the laundry but realized some dirty ones got mixed up and went to put them aside to be done the next day.
“My job title can also be a stay-on-TikTok wife because that’s also my job.”
But her seemingly slow-paced lifestyle as a stay-at-home wife sparked debate amongst those who think life should be more “fulfilling” with those who believe she’s “living the dream.”
One wrote, “This girl gets it. She made it. She did it. She’s living all our dreams.”

Another related with her, “I love how realistic it is. Getting tired from going to like two stores and then putting away dirty laundry. Same queen!”
But one shared her opinion, “Everyone saying they want this. But living this way would make me feel so unfulfilled.”
Clara, who often replies to her comments with jokes and short remarks, wrote back, “I wake up and get to do whatever I want that day. But maybe that your nightmare idk haha.”
Sharing about the moment they eloped, Clara said, “Our families didn’t attend because it was so last minute – it was literally just the two of us. There was a minister who we had come to the beach with a photographer, but that was it.”
They are living the dream! Or the nightmare?! Well, they both look happy about it!
