A “lover of life” and vegan, Lauren could not just ignore animals in need when she sees one.
She had decided to take a break from fostering animals as she focused on her pregnancy and raising the baby. But it doesn’t seem like she could completely stay away from helping out when she could!
The cat was expecting, and Lauren wondered, “Who’s going to pop first?”
She found the cat injured on the streets and undernourished. They confirmed she was a stray as no owner came to claim her.
The cat was named Dove, and they spent the last few weeks of Lauren’s pregnancy together.
Lauren gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Kylie!
But the baby girl was the only blessing that day; mama cat gave birth to six kittens at around the same time!
The six adorable kitties spent quite some time with the foster family before they put them up for adoption to find their forever homes!
The kittens were adopted by Lauren’s friends who live nearby, so they can always meet each other anytime!
