NYC Surgeon Divorces Beauty Queen Wife After Discovering Her ‘Secret’ Double Life
To dissolve the marriage based on fraud.
Spinal Surgeon Dr. Han Jo Kim seeks an annulment of his marriage to former beauty queen wife, Regina Turner, over claims in court papers that he discovered she had been engaged in s*x work. New York Daily News reported, citing court documents, that Turner worked as a high-end call girl before and after their marriage in 2015.
A court spokesman told the Daily News that Dr. Kim settled his divorce from Turner before a public court hearing scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday. Reportedly, the divorce papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court alleged that Turner earned almost $700,000 in cash from her clients.

The millionaire surgeon stated that Turner, who won the Miss Connecticut title in 2011, had clients including a New Jersey-based real estate executive and an award-winning lighting designer. He added that he became aware of his wife’s double life in Dec. 2020 when he stumbled upon an explicit iMessage detailing a sexual encounter between Turner and another man.
It allegedly happened before and during their marriage. The duo had got officially got married in 2015.
Dr. Kim’s statement in the court documents reads: “Not to belabor the obvious but defendant committed material fraud upon Dr. Kim by concealing her sale of sexual services in exchange for money prior to the marriage. As is further obvious, the plaintiff would never have married defendant absent her lies and concealment.”
Dr. Kim, in court papers, shared Turner received cash payments from men. It totaled $675,030 in cash deposits from 2015-2021.
The court documents also included records of financial transactions, alleged to be payments from clients to Turner. New York Daily News further reported that Dr. Kim alleged that Turner misled him about other details of her past life, including that she had studied science at the University of Connecticut for three years before leaving to compete in the Miss USA Pageant.
The court documents state that Turner had never graduated high school and added that she pretended to be out with friends while actually engaging in s*x work. The documents also claimed Turner had made frequent weeks-long works trips to China relating to a clothing app she was developing.
Dr. Kim dissolved the marriage because he was a victim of fraud.
New York Daily News said Turner’s subpoenaed bank statements allegedly showed $675,030 in cash deposits from 2015 to 2021. In January, Turner, according to the papers, claimed to have no income and was totally reliant on her husband for support. However, according to New York Daily News, Dr. Kim earned $3.2million in 2018 while the couple owns an Upper East Side Apartment and a Waterfront home on Long Island.
