Jameela Jamil Claims She Almost Took Her Own Life Because Of Piers Morgan
The tweet war continues.
Piers Morgan walked out of the studio of ‘Good Morning Britain,’ and Jameela Jamil dug out a story from a year ago during this momentum. The 35-year-old actress called out on his ‘campaign of lies’ that almost made her kill herself last year.
Morgan rage quit the studio when he stated that he ‘didn’t believe a word’ from Meghan Markle and Harry during their interview with Oprah Winfrey a few days ago. The next morning, Morgan had quite the argument with Alex Beresford, who said he’s ‘trashing’ Meghan Markle.
Hours later, ITV announced his quit from GMB and Jameela Jamil tweeted this.
In a previous tweet, Jameela wrote, “May we NEVER have to watch minorities have to go on mainstream news and have to *defend* their right to be treated with dignity and respect… ever again.”
“All while being screamed over by this man,” she continued before mentioning the GMB.
Morgan replied: I still don’t… believe Meghan Markle.
Despite being hit with more than 40k complaints after his controversial opinion on GMB before quitting the show, Morgan was adamant about his opinion.
But Jameela calls on his hypocrisy, tweeting, “He believes in HIS right to free speech. Just not Meghan’s apparently.”
“Or coincidentally his Black colleague’s freedom of speech. Or Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu. Then he’s off. I’m sure it is a total coincidence.”
Their sour relationship began from the back and forth tweet war over Love Island host Caroline Flack’s death.
Caroline Flack was found dead in her own apartment in London on February 15. She killed herself when she was being persecuted over allegations of assault on her boyfriend. A week later, Morgan released a shocking screenshot of her conversation with Flack on October 22.
“Please have pictures… I’m struggling with Jameela. The hate she aims at me.”
Jameel defended herself that she was criticizing ‘The Surjury’ show, not her.
Just earlier this month, social media users were accusing Jameela with Munchausen syndrome after her claims of multiple health and mental issues.
In reaction to that, Morgan tweeted, “Hope your other 1,345 virtue-signaling victimhood-craving ailments make similarly miraculous recoveries.”
ITV has released a statement: Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.
