20 People Whose Before & After Pics Are Absolutely Different
Oh, look at those faces!
Glow-up is real! Some people experience challenging childhood moments because of how awkward they look. Well, not everyone is born handsome, pretty, and confident. Some of us deal with self-love a little more challenging than others, and it’s not anyone’s fault, really.
Growing up was probably the best thing that’s ever happened to these people. They prove that they still have a lot of grow-up and change to show to others from ugly ducklings. All we can do is stare in awe because gene (self-love and self-care) really can transform you!
“14 vs 36.”
“Left (16 years old, never kissed a boy, genuinely believed I would be a 40 year old virgin), Right (26 years old, much happier).”
“27 to 37. Getting older isn’t so bad.”
You might realize that some of these people physically change because they add effort into it. Yep! DNA plays a huge part in determining what you look like. However, a healthy lifestyle and diet help improve your physical condition, such as skin quality and muscle density. In fact, to reach your desired height, you need to make sure that your body receives the required nutrition to achieve your maximum potential.
“14, 16, and 18. Down 100lbs and a cardio fiend.”
“17-27 I decided that I didn’t want to die young from drug overdose so I cut my hair and here we are 10 years later.”
“6th grade and 21.”
“Thicc to less thicc. Weird how a year and a few months can change your life.”
“15 > 22!”
“People used to call me cheeks, 10 years can do a lot!”
“14-20, freed my eyes and brows, lost the belly, got a tan.”
And you will need to maintain this healthy attitude even way later. Right now, you see how it changes you into a better person. And later, you will see how people think it’s a ‘privilege.’ A mom wrote, “I’ve seen moms write that their time in the bathroom without any kids climbing on them is like ‘a mini-vacation.'”
“I’m sorry, but while I enjoy a kid-free trip to Target as much as anyone, it’s still always filled with a mental checklist of items that my family needs.”
“17 left and 27 right. People said I looked like Hurley from ‘LOST.'”
“15-25.”
“‘When I loved pizza & was insecure (17)’ vs. ‘Still love pizza & learned to love myself (25).'”
“15/17 vs 21 (about to turn 22).”
“15 -> 16 -> 20. Looking back at old pictures like, no wonder I used to be so depressed.”
“2015-2021.”
“Proud of how far I’ve come.”
So yes, people, learning to love yourself is not just some cheap phrases people throw around. You will feel and treat yourself differently once you start learning to love yourself. Just like how you treat your loved ones special, you will do the same to yourself. That’s how you start changing, just like how some of these ‘ugly ducklings’ did!
