Our highschool teachers scared us that college is going to be different. It’s higher education meant to prepare us for real-life work, but really… is it that scary?
How boring would life be if you can’t enjoy every moment? Isn’t it tiring to be serious all the time? We might just be living 3-5 years of college life, but these professors have done this ton of times. This isn’t their first class, and it’s very likely that they, too, get bored of giving notes for the 43rd time.
Not to mention that Zoom meetings are very boring because professors can’t get as interactive as they want. It’s always better to have a face-to-face lecture because students can directly ask questions. The mood also motivates students to pay more attention.
