Woman’s Life ‘Changed’ After Getting Dramatic Breast Reduction Surgery For Her Size 28H

Janel Nelson, aged 20, is recently celebrating the reduction of her breast size. While many people might initially not understand why, the surgery has provided her so much relief she calls it a “life-changing” procedure.

Janel shared that she’s been rejected the procedure ten times since her health deteriorated at age 16.

Before the procedure, Janel was the size of 28H, the number that is coveted by many women. But for her, it had only given her so much back pain and “debilitating” migraines.

“My shoulders and neck were always extremely sore from the pressure of my bra straps,” she revealed her reasons. “My entire posture revolved around slouching to get some relief.”

And when it’s too hot, such as during the summer, Nelson experiences rashes pretty often because of the sweating under her breasts. Yet, they all cannot compare to the headaches.

“I felt as though my body was denying me confidence and restricting what I could and could not do in my life.”

She was denied the procedure ten times for multiple reasons. From being “too young” to having to wait for her hormones to level out, Nelson was tired of waiting.

She was always given “terrible” reasons when denied. Nelson recalled, “One doctor even asked: ‘What would your future husband think?’”

But thankfully, her husband Chandler Nelson thinks she shouldn’t give up. He pushed her to keep looking for someone who was willing. And that was how she met her doctor last year, who agreed to perform the surgery on her on January 5.

She couldn’t hide her smiles in the video, “It’s been life-changing. I feel like I have acquired a whole new body.”

“I am no longer restricted in my clothing choices, and I can grab anything off the rack without even having to try it on, knowing that it will fit me.”

She shared that she experienced a short-term intense pain post-surgery, but she never regretted doing it. And if anyone is considering it, she is giving them the push they might need.

“No amount of scarring or pain would ever hold me back from doing the surgery again just to feel and experience the relief I have now.”

 “You deserve to feel comfortable in your body. You deserve to feel confident in the clothes that you wear. You deserve to be happy.”
