37-Year-Old Nikki of Pollok Glasgow recently turned a new age on April 23 and got birthday gifts. Delighted as anyone would have been, the mom-of-two opened a wrapped gift sent by her mom, Carol Walker, 69, who couldn’t grace the celebration. This moment within seconds turned horrific as the birthday gift of £100 Cash floats off into the air.
Nikki Walker, 37, from Pollok Glasgow, watched her birthday gift of £100 Cash floats off into the air.
It had been attached to a helium balloon, yet Nikki didn’t realize the balloon wasn’t stuck down and had a line of £10 notes taped to the string. The clip has since gone viral as it further showed Nikki jumping to try and grab the pink balloon. But she missed it by centimeters as it slipped through her fingers and floated up into the sky.

The balloon continually raised higher and higher, with the line of £10 floating away into the distance. Family and loved ones present for the occasion can be heard laughing and shouting in total shock as Nikki placed her hands to her mouth in terror. “It’s all just happened in a split second. I didn’t have a chance to react. Everyone was just in total shock watching.” Nikki, mom to Kaylee, nine, and Keigan, 13, explained.

According to Daily Mail, Nikki added: “I was so excited to open it that it didn’t even occur to me that the money would on the balloon rather than in the box itself. I felt stupid at first; who would open a helium balloon outside on a windy day? I think that did dampen the mood for a little bit, but what’s done is done. We all see the funny side now; at least we can giggle at the video.” So far, Nikki is yet to retrieve her money and doesn’t even know where it landed.
