An intense mixed reaction has arisen on the internet after a wife shared a photo of her husband’s lunch on an Australian Facebook Group titled ‘The Tradie’s Lunch.
The woman got slammed for packing up her tradesmen husband’s lunch every morning before he goes to work. A lot have expressed their dissatisfaction, saying she’s treating him like a child.
Her photos included an assortment of cheese, 3 pieces of fruit, sandwiches, crackers, and cabanossi sausage. The wife had captioned it: ‘Cheaper, healthier and fresher than takeaways.’

But instead of being applauded, the reverse was the case as she was given a hammering to the very extent the administrator had to equally step in. ‘Do we have to feed them amid the day now too? A user queried.
Fortunately, a few stepped in and defended her following the administrator’s kick against ill words. ‘There should be no more comments about whether you like or dislike the packed lunch. It’s each to their own as no one is persuading you to pack your husband’s lunch like this woman. Just move on if you are not in agreement with it.’ The admin wrote.
The less negative comment, however, included a woman who revealed that her mom still packs lunches and snacks for her middle-aged dad who drives long routes to work in a coal mine weekly.
‘My dad’s mate got so jealous that mom had no choice but to pack one for him as well.’ The woman added.
Another, a pensioner who pack lunches for her husband until retirement applauded the users who take the time to pack lunches every morning, lamenting on how the practice is fast becoming a thing of the past.
