Woman Says Marriage With Ragdoll Husband is ‘Hanging On A Thread’ After He Cheated
Meirivone is having a hard time sleeping after she found her ragdoll husband is having an affair.
Do you remember Meirivone Rocha Moraes? For a memory jig, the Brazilian had married Marcelo, a toy ragdoll in a wedding that had 250 guests in attendance. The couple also live-streamed the birth process of their doll-baby Marcelinho [pictured], before an audience of over 200 people.
The 37-Year-Old was strongly convinced she’s found the love of her life but not until she recently discovered that Marcelo is having an affair.
“I was very sad and I could barely sleep because I love my husband so much, but he denied the betrayal. I found out through a friend who told me she saw Marcelo entering a motel with another woman while I was hospitalized for three night and three days with Marcelinho, our son, who had a virus,” Meirivone said in a TikTok clip with over a 1.6million views.
Notably, the pair got married earlier this year but now the relationship is hanging on by a thread.
She added: “At first, I thought she was lying, but I started looking through his phone and I saw the conversations, which made me sure he was cheating. He kept denying everything and said he loves me very much, as well as asking for forgiveness and crying a lot. The argument was ugly and scared [our son] who was crying, so I shouted to him, ‘do you see what you’ve done.”
The situation is quite rough for Meirivone as she has three other children, Carol, and Diego, and a newborn to take care of.
The mom-of-four revealed she asked her husband who the woman was but didn’t respond. It resulted in Meirivone telling Marcelo to sleep in the living room as she didn’t want to stay in the same room due to the betrayal. She continued: “I wanted to put him out of the house but our baby is growing up and at this stage, he would miss his father a lot.”
Accordingly, the love she feels for her ragdoll husband made her forgive – not completely though – but Meirivone doesn’t think she could live without her husband.
“I need to talk with him, so he can decide once and for all that he doesn’t cheat anymore and if he does one more time, I won’t forgive him. The TikTok showed a montage of family pics & the caption read: “the first night of our wedding we discussed & my husband went to sleep on the couch. I’m very sad I only have time to forgive but love speaks louder I have to give him a hard time! I married a doll.”
The post concluded, with Meirivone saying: “I am a woman desired by many and I work, take care of myself and our home, but all he does is take care of our baby.”
“I always remember that he promised me allegiance at the alter and I can’t believe he’s done this to me. I told him, those who love do not betray and we have sworn to eternal love – we cannot be three, it’s only the two of us for now. Our happy little boy is very taken care of and I will baptize him soon. Because of this, and our son, we’ll continue living together – but my biggest dream is owning a home one day for us all.”
However, December 18th, 2022 will see the couple celebrate their first anniversary together. And in the comment section of Meirivone’s video, her viewers couldn’t hold back from sharing their thoughts, with one writing: “Only love can hurt like this.” Another added: “I saw him with a girl called Emilia.” A third continued: “Talk to him, try to get through this.” While a fourth said: “I don’t believe in love anymore.”
