Woman Posts Truly Brutal Review Of Kim Kardashian’s Shapewear Line SKIMS

Kim Kardashian’s effort to dispel the negativity around shapewear has made her SKIMS brand popular amongst women who enjoy wearing them. If you’re among those who are looking for a reliable review, this viral TikTok clip would be good food for thought.
Adria Barich just got her SKIMS orders, and she’s decided that a review was necessary. The 23-year-old hilariously roasted the brand after her size came in smaller than what would’ve “fit perfectly.”
After telling the audience that the video was only meant for Kim Kardashian, she went into serious mode and asked, “What is this?”
“I thought Skims were supposed to make me look curvalicious,” she showed the curves her shapewear gave.
“Not Winnie the Pooh wearing too small underwear,” she began roasting the piece. She turned around, showed what she looked like from the side, and compared it to “Pillsbury Doughboy” because of the tight waistband.
The Kardashian businesswoman has been hailed for reducing the stigma around shapewear and was inclusive in selling their products.
But Adria felt that the models they used on their website were “very unrealistic, even though they are inclusive of different-sized people.” She added that these pictures were “touched up” and were unrealistic for people who dreamed of looking like her.
She added that the inconsistent sizing “makes people feel bad”.
“I have two more buttcheeks than I started with,” she continued her detailed review in the clip.
“Why yes, I am wearing shapewear,” said Adria, who wasn’t done with her roasting.
“Oh, you didn’t know? You couldn’t tell?”
“Anyway, that’s all,” she concluded in the video that has over 13 million views now—users who went through the same thing related with the exasperating results similarly.
Some suggested that she gets a bigger size than advertised. In a later video, she compared the shapewear to a pair of leggings and how it’s keeping her shape better than SKIMS does. She admitted, “I know my size was too small, but I bought the size that the site told me I was!!!”
The comments pretty much echoed what the video was about.
