Woman, 21, Found Lying Sick On The Street After Being ‘Spiked By Injection’

“I’m very lucky I was found by the right people.”

Oliva Riley woke up the day after a night out in Leeds with a strange mark on her leg and little memory of what transpired the night before. Her boyfriend informed the 21-Year-Old that she had been sick, a thing she didn’t believe at first as she could handle her booze. But on visiting the hospital and reporting the incident to the police, she was told she was more than likely spiked

Olivia Riley was spiked during a night out as she was found on the other side of the city lying in her own sick.

Olivia had in particular been found by a group of girls while lying in her own sick. She went out in Leeds on Nov 6th wholly sober and had just got back from a holiday while looking forward to a night with her friend. After arriving at Manahatta Greek Street before 8 p.m., she and her friend queued for 40minutes to get a drink because of how busy the bar was.

Olivia revealed she had about six drinks, less than she would usually have. Her bank record reportedly showed she bought her last drink just after 10 p.m., while her friends’ drink was purchased before 11 p.m. At about 10:30 p.m., Olivia claimed her memory was completely gone, was found on the other side of Leeds, and had her bag and shoes disappeared. The girls managed to use the missed calls from her BF on her lock screen to contact him.

The 21-Year-Old saw what looked like an injection mark on her leg, the same as the liquid stain on her dress.

“I didn’t sink in at first. My family was concerned – I’d heard of it happening in other places in Leeds, but I never thought it would ever happen to me. I’ve never been in that state from drinking. I don’t know why people do it. I never took my eyes off my drinks, and I was sure I would’ve felt an injection.” Olivia, from Stanley in Wakefield, told LeedsLive.

She continued: “You can cover your drinks and be as careful as possible, but I don’t understand how you could stop at the needle. I don’t know what I could have done to stop it from happening. I hadn’t drunk that much. The only way I could have avoided it is by not going out – and why should I have to put my life on hold because people are doing something sick like this?”

Her memory of the night out after 10:30 pm was wholly gone when she woke up the next day.

It turned out her friend also had an idea what happened, having lost Olivia at some point near Boar Lane. Olivia reached out on 101, and officers came down to her house to look at the mark and conduct some tests. They found nothing in her urine, and Olivia added that the mark had since scabbed over as if there was an actual puncture to her skin. However, she’s hoping to locate her belongings, especially her Louis Vuitton bag, containing her ID and more.
