What Do You See? Optical Illusion Reveals Whether You’re An Optimist Or A Pessimist
It says something important about you.
A new optical illusion has emerged, revealing more about your true personality. The illusion shared by The Minds Journal urges its participants to look at the direction of an animal [a cat] on a flight of stairs and what you see says something vital about You.
Whichever way you spot the cat walking in the greyscale image, the test claim it exposes your approach to life.
If you felt the cat was coming up the stairs, it’s claimed that you have an optimistic perspective about life:
“You see potential and you see growth wherever you look. Your mind has been trained to look at ways of rising higher in life, so given a situation where you have the choice of rising higher than others or falling to their levels, you would inevitably be the better person. There are clear signs of ambition in you and no one except yourself can stop you from going higher in life.”
If you saw the cat walking down the stairs, it’s claimed you have a pessimistic personality and skepticism:
“It may have been based on your experiences in life or just because the sort of people you may have met that titled your view of life towards the negative side. But this means that you don’t trust easily now, you calculate before you commit and you are wary of people who seem too sweet. It may just be your way of tackling the world but you are much sharper and shrewd in your dealings, making it almost impossible to trick or deceive you.”
The photo shared on Imgur has attracted over 13,000 views and prompted about 59 comments.
@fromfold said: “The cat’s going down. Only an idiot would design stairs with a lip on the end on the part you walk on. Another @Athedeus stated: “The bricks are obviously holding the lip of the steps which holds the rough surface. It can only be UP.” A third @DigitalMason added: “Pretty obvious it’s going down. Who puts bullnosing facing up on steps?
