He has insisted that not all trans people have access to life-saving funds.
Due to his b**bs situation, Adonis has been asked questions and comments like ‘[What the f**k are you?’
However, Adonis decided to respond to one of these questions via TikTok. In the clip, which has since gone viral, he explained he didn’t choose to keep them, referring to his b**bs, and added that: “I’m only 19. I’m poor, from a poor family, unemployed with state insurance. Not every [transmasculine] person gets lucky with privileged parents, supportive networks, or lucrative businesses to get top surgery young.”
In one of his TikTok, Adonis addressed a question from commenters: “Why did you choose to keep them?”
“I didn’t,” he responded. “I’m only 19. I’m poor, from a poor family, unemployed, with state insurance.”

Adonis’ father had insurance through his job, which helped cover the hormone treatments until he was 17.
He insisted not every trans person is blessed with ‘privileged parents, or lucrative businesses.’
When he initially started transitioning at age 15, Adonis said he could take hormones because his dad had a union job, which was covered under his insurance. He shared: “We were still poor, but he had union benefits so I could get hormones. Until he lost that job. I haven’t been on hormones in several years.” In an interview with BuzzFeed, Adonis said the only reason his father supported his transition was that he was getting bad mentally.
He was asked to ‘get to work, but in another clip, Adonis said he was recently forced to quit his ‘abusive job.
