Three Brothers Beat Stepdad To Death For Se(x)ually Abusing Their Sister
Is there a possible involvement of the teen’s mom?
A Texas man has been found allegedly beaten to death by three brothers, two of whom were the man’s stepsons. Christian Trevino, 17, Juan Eduardo Melendez, 18, and Alejandro Trevino, 18, beat Gabriel Quintanilla to death after hearing he had allegedly abused their 9-Year-Old sister.
Police in Pharr, located in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, has, however, announced the brothers’ arrest, and the town’s police chief, Andy Harvey, also identified Christian and Alejandro as Stepsons of Quintanilla, whose body was reportedly found in an open field by a farmer on Jan 20.
Brothers Alejandro, Christian, and Juan are all in jail for beating their stepfather to death.
Harvey reported that Quintanilla had been in a national database since 2019 after another minor claimed he had sexually abused her between 2014 and 2016. Since then, the stepdad has been on the run from authorities, but not until his body was recently spotted.
Quintanilla, 42, was beaten to death when the teens discovered he had been molesting their sister,9.
“The detectives went out to look for Quintanilla at that time and were unable to find him. They searched. They went to his last known residence. They went to his mother’s residence multiple times,” Harvey had said in a press conference, made available for watch on Facebook.
Harvey, the town’s police chief, claimed Quintanilla had been on the run after he sexually abused another minor.
KRGV reported that Christian and Juan are being charged with capital murder while all three teens are charged with aggravated assault, family violence, and engagement in organized criminal activity. Harvey added: “Capital murder because Quintanilla was Kidnapped when he was taken in the back of the F-150 and dropped off somewhere else.
However, Christian and Juan are being charged with capital murder.
“So he was kidnapped, and then at the time scene where they dropped him off the Trevino’s, they got some property, stole some property from Quintanilla.” When asked about the possible involvement of the teen’s mom, he continued: “That’s still all part of the open investigation, and that’s certainly a question that we had.”

Currently, the teens remain in Hidalgo County Jail.
“Why we weren’t notified and that kind of thing so there are more questions out there, and that’s something that we are still looking into.” As of this time of writing, no charges have been filed against the mother, and as the investigation is ongoing, the three teens will remain in Hidalgo County Jail.
