We hope they’ve got the happiest of life together.

You’ll agree that fate has a way of making its own plans. If you disagree, this article tells it all. In 2013, KC and Lena Currie tied the knot and soon wanted to start their own family. Eventually, they adopted an 18-month-old named Joey in November 2017, and then it was love at first sight on their first encounter at the adoption event held by Children’s Friend in Worcester.

Soon afterward, the pair got a phone call from Children’s Friend and were told that Noah, Joey’s brother who was only six weeks at the time, needed a home too.

“We immediately said, Yes,” KC reportedly said. A month after taking in Noah, the center called again, informing the couple their sons have a middle sibling, Logan. The body had been living with a foster family but wasn’t adopted. After much deliberations, the couple decided to take him as well. KC added: “It was out gut-feeling. We were going to end up saying yes because keeping the brothers was important to us.”

“When they’re older and have questions, they’ll have each other to lean on and experience that ride together.”

Logan and Joey’s adoption process concluded in 2019 at the Worcester courthouse. Lena and KC are officially the three brothers’ legal parents and are all looking forward to spending their days in love and laughter. Lena reportedly claimed the children call them Mama and Mommy, and they hope to be the best moms ever.

KC also stated they can now start dreaming about grade schools, sports, and fun things.

“It’s what you want to see happen. They’re a wonderful family. They’re flexible – they really understand the kid’s needs, the importance of maintaining sibling relationships, and the long-term impact of that,” Veronica Listerud, director of adoption and family services at Children’s Friend, an affiliate of the nonprofit organization Seven Hills Foundation said. However, the couple hopes their story will encourage others to consider adoption.

Accordingly, KC and Lena look forward to the boys having more dance parties, celebrating the holidays, and watching the three grow up together.
