This Couple Doesn’t Know Why They Went Viral And Here’s Their Story
It all started from Facebook.
Wendy Joseph and Dan Hennessey couldn’t really understand how their relationship became so popular on social media. But it worked towards their favor unexpectedly as the Henneseys grow their presence on social media as beauty and couple influencers.
Their first (online) meeting.
Dan Hennessey was an 18-year-old college boy studying Fitness Science and explored Facebook, a social media platform that had only begun to gain popularity among college students. Wendy also joined the platform around the same time and was a high school graduate learning about healthcare.
Dan was initially interested in Wendy’s friend but as she didn’t seem to show interest, Dan found Wendy in her friend list and started messaging her instead.
Wendy was cautious and decided to consult her friend. But upon finding out that Dan had texted her as well, she decided not to reply at all. Her first impression wasn’t good: Wendy totally thought he was a player who texted just about any girl he found interesting.
But curiosity got the better of her. Eventually, she replied to him and they found mutual friends in each other.
Things escalated on Dan’s side when he invited her to a party but was never actually planned.
To his surprise, Wendy said yes to the non-existent party. Dan scrambled to get everything ready for a party that night. His friends proved their loyalty as he set up an emergency party and they had fun!
Sparks flew when they met as they danced around the house throughout the party and had conversations throughout the night. Yet the word “love” still wasn’t the right one to define their relationship.
Wendy and Dan remained as close friends as they adjust to their single life.
Dan still enjoyed the life of a bachelor while Wendy had just freshly broken up from her long-term boyfriend. They truly took their time together and it wasn’t until six months later did they make things official between them.
They were together for seven years, but their love story was not one without hurdles. Wendy decided to split up.
Wendy was still in love with Dan but realized that she couldn’t find her own purpose in life. She wasn’t sure where she wants to be and what she wants to do. It is, but a temporary goodbye for the two of them.
Wendy started her own YouTube channel, Wendy Curls.
As the name suggests, Wendy uses her platform to share hairdo tips and curling styles. The channel expands as she started gaining followers who also love watching her travel and lifestyle content.
It was also during this time when Dan reached out to her again and they got back together.
The two became an item that fans love to watch as Dan would often appear in her videos whether it’s for hair or relationship content. Yes, you read that right, relationship content!
The Hennessey’s had been together for 10 years by now and they went viral for a timelapse picture that shocked people.
Wendy did not imagine that their couple pictures from their old times would garner so many likes, up to 60k! People were shocked at how youthful the couple looked despite the fact that over a decade had passed.
That fact helped them grow their following even bigger as they encourage people with helpful relationships and health tips.
They’ve also started their own fitness coaching company: True4YouFitness.
The couple has gotten engaged in Paris and they became the Hennesseys!
Recalling their love story, the couple thought that breaking up was perhaps the best thing they’ve done. Albeit it was a painful experience when it happened.
“What if a break-up turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to a couple? Could it be possible? We feel this is exactly what happened with us,” they shared.
And now, they continue enjoying their life going on adventures, and making fun content for their followers!
