Stroppy Baby Orangutan Throws Tantrum After Being Dragged Away From Playtime By Mother

I don’t want to go Momma!

A cute baby Orangutan was left unimpressed after his mother dragged him away from playtime at Pairi Daiza Zoo in Belgium.

Berani, the 3-year-old was pulled on the floor by mother Sari as he threw a tiny tantrum, but the duo instantly made up as the youngster placed a kiss on his parent.

Other photos of the very playful Orangutan revealed Berani burrowing under a yellow blanket while enjoying a sip of water after working up a thirst from doing mischief.

Koen Hartkamp, a photographer took photos of the delightful moment during a tour to the park, while also raising awareness of palm oil abuse and partakes in projects to revive the Borneo Forest for Orangutans.

‘Just like small kids, Berani still has to always listen to what the mom says even though he’s gradually getting independent and going by the photo, he didn’t like it.’ Koen, 34, explained.

The Orangutan family, including Father Uijan, settled at the award-winning Zoo after moving away from Germany in 2017.
