Street Photographer Captures 40 Unusual Things Of Russia You’ve Never Seen Before

Perception depends on numerous factors, but if a picture is taken with specific energy, an audience will feel it, no matter their culture. Professional Photographer Aleksandr Petrosyan has invited people to dive into Russia’s raw and never seen before streets while also experiencing the country’s lifestyle without a filter. The full-time photojournalist doesn’t leave his home with a camera and has indeed spent years discovering and documenting infinite layers of Russia through street photography. 

Petrosyan’s photos depict specific traditions the Russians have. This includes burning an idol for the winter to go away and swimming in the freezing lake during winter. And while the country is no doubt an exciting place, it can, however, be pretty bizarre for those who are not familiar with the culture. Despite its awkward situations, it downright has beauty in most of its cities. Inspiration for Petrosyan comes from the streets of St. Petersburg, where he has lived his whole life.
