This year sees a lot of ending to many great things that have grown up with us throughout our childhood. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ bid farewell to many heroes who pass on their spirit and sacrifice to the future members of Avengers. And now, Star Wars is preparing themselves for the end.
The final trailer for ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ has just dropped on YouTube, teasing touching farewells and one epic conclusion to the saga.
It is never easy to try to put a good end to a franchise that has lived and entertained fans for decades. Because the most popular and anticipated it is, the higher are their expectations and director J. J. Abrams could feel the pressure.
“We went into this thing knowing it has to be an ending. We’re not screwing around,” says the director to EW.
The sequel is set one year after the events of ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ and will see Kylo Ren and Rey face off each other for one last battle. Meanwhile, the Resistance is doing its best to protect the universe. We also see a sad scene of C-3PO ‘taking one last look at his friends’ as he’s being configured by the new droidsmith character.
The epic battle of light and darkness drops on December 20.
