‘Prey’ Becomes The Best Predator Movie Of All Time
“This is a true return to form for the series.”
The latest movie from the “Predator” series has dropped, and it’s doing numbers as people rave over the Hulu movie since it aired on August 5.
“Prey” has received an astounding 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.3/10 on IMDb.
As the prequel, “Prey” follows a skilled Comanche warrior, Naru, as she fights and defends against a “highly-evolved” alien predator. This creature was the same monster that made an appearance in the 1987 original movie, “Predator.”
Naru was portrayed by Amber Midthunder, a native New Mexican actress. She works with her tribespeople while the colonizers are on their conquest to take over the land. Shots were fired from old rifles as Naru utilized all of the survival skills she’s gathered her whole life to fight back.
Daniel Roman reviewed, “Just got done watching Prey, and WOW. I went in with cautiously high expectations, but it blew them totally out of the water. Easily the best Predator movie since the original, and maybe one of my favorite movies I’ve seen so far this year.”
Geekly Goods streamer shared, “HOLY. FREAKING. SMOKES Y’ALL. Prey has EASILY landed a spot in my top 10 of the year. Incredibly shot/edited action, the predator looks menacing and terrifying, great thematic predator/prey presentations throughout, and a chilling buildup that keeps you ON EDGE.”
Another wrote, “Prey was everything I wanted from a Predator film. This is a true return to form for the series.”
