She spoke with Today Parents, “Lots of them are from teenage boys, and I find them hilarious. They’re kids, and they don’t know.”

When The Independent asked her, she said she wants other pregnant moms to feel confident about themselves. She shared, “I delete the hurtful comments. I don’t want to interact with or see them. I’ll respond to the questions, and hopefully, my positivity will reach others.”

“I’m hoping we can change the expectations society has for women. The [comments] I love are those from other women who’ve struggled with their pregnancy bodies. I’ve been told it’s uplifting, and they’re glad I’m staying positive!”

She’s added that not just online – she’s got the same comments offline with strangers wondering if she’s having triplets!

Some also asked her if she had gestational diabetes that caused her bump to grow this big, but she assured them it was none. She explained herself, “It’s extra noticeable because I’m 4-foot-11, and I have a short torso.”

“Strangers will stop me in a store wanting to know if I’m expecting triplets. I’ve had a healthy, uncomplicated pregnancy.”

And actually, her boy at 35 weeks was smaller than her previous pregnancies! The boy weighed six pounds, four ounces then.

“With my first pregnancy, I was constantly being referred to ultrasounds to be sure the baby wasn’t massive. They estimated my first at just over 10 pounds, but he was just under eight pounds at birth.”
