Pizza Hut Taiwan Unveils Pizza With Fried Chicken, Calamari, Tempura, And Oreos
It’s selling for NT$399, an equivalent of $13.45.
Creativity is no doubt a way to bring fun to customers. Pizza Hut Taiwan seems to agree, especially as they keep experimenting with ingredients, and we, including YOU, will keep eating. Yet again, the food chain has launched a new flavor of Pizza with fried chicken, calamari, tempura, and Oreos.
Images from the ad campaign show 10 Oreo cookies are placed on the edges of the crust, molded into corners to give the pizza a star-like shape.
A reviewer has acknowledged that Pizza has a good balance of saltiness and sweetness and sells for NT$399, an equivalent of $13.45. A representative of the food chain has since confirmed to Taiwan News that the advert is real and the new product will be launched Tuesday, May 10th.
Before this, Pizza Hut marketed numerous eclectic pizza flavors based on foods and beverages popular in Taiwan, including pearl mile tea and spicy hot pot.
However, reactions to the new Pizza have been mixed, with some raving about it and a few likening it to something out of a horror film. One person commented: “Ok but I’m making a hospital appointment in advance.” Another wrote: “Honestly, I would eat this as the cost of entry to Taiwan right now.” While a third said: “Taiwan’s Pizza crimes continue unabated.”
