The invade didn’t go down as expected!
Social media is known for its ability in uniting people from both far and near. And one latest stunt pulled by the same media was bringing together a group who had agreed on storming Area 51.
Officially originated on Facebook, the seemingly innocent event titled ‘Storm Area 51 – They Can’t Stop All Of Us’ had garnered over two million people RSVP’ed and has placed government officials on their toes.
The viral event ‘Storm Area 51’ as earlier promised happened on 20th September and below are the first pictures from the event
Created on June 27, a lot of people, including myself, have really wondered what would actually happen on the selected date. And the moment of truth has officially arrived. The event became a reality and here’re the photos!
Alien Enthusiasts on Friday marched to the heavily guarded gate of Area 51. The area had been accused of hiding secrets related to extraterrestrial life, in turn, people got so determined to see them, aliens.
Nevertheless, those who expected some action got a disappointment. It appeared like most of the crowds gathered showed up just to see how the event will happen, rather than invading the base.
‘They were just here to see what’s going on. They’re obviously here to have fun.’ Sergeant Orlando Guerra, an officer at the Nevada Department of Public Safety Investigation Division revealed.
The event didn’t, however, go without moments that are definitely going to make history. Look behind and see the Naruto-run captured on live news coverage.
