Nurse Left Stunned After Finding A Note From Furious Neighbor For Going Out During Lockdown
Frontline workers need all the support and love you can give and not insults!
An NHS Nurse is left distraught after finding a nasty note under her door over going out amid pandemic lockdown.
Bex Williams returned to her home in Godmanchester, Cambridge after concluding a 12-hour night shift at the Peterborough Hospital, only to find a note cautioning her for not staying back at home, placed under her door.
‘You’re a disgrace and you’ve been reported. Stay home & help save lives.’ The handwritten note reads.

Bex admitted she felt the note was a goodwill gesture since other nurses like her have been receiving lovely messages and gifts on their doorsteps and on their vehicles. ‘When I opened the left note, my heart pounded in my throat as I couldn’t believe how terrible it was.’ Bex explained.
Bex had obviously had a difficult time at work while also leaving her kids with her brother. She doesn’t, however, knows who dropped the note under her note but suspects her neighbor.
‘Most of my neighbors know I am a single mom who drops off her kids at my brother’s home.’ Bex added.

Taking to social media, Deb Leighton, Bex’s mother wrote: ‘To the awful, malicious being who placed this through my daughter’s letterbox. She has just got back for the 1st three night shifts as a frontline nurse at the Peterborough hospital. She’s a single parent and my son has her kids while she works as I can’t have them during this period.’
‘To return home to this after working tirelessly, you are a big disgrace. She infuriated and perhaps might not be able to sleep before returning back to work. I hope you don’t need her or her colleagues’ services amid this lockdown. A little investigation would have helped instead of hiding behind an anonymous note. I hope you are proud of what you did ’ Deb added.
Reacting, internet users responded with messages of support for Bex. ‘This anonymous should be ashamed of themselves. Kindly thank your daughter for the hard work.’ A user identified as Fiona Blue said.
