New Samsung Galaxy Fold Revealed On CES Meeting Along With Image And Name

We’ve been hearing about Samsung designing and making a new foldable phone, flip-style like Motorola’s Razr. But as far as we’ve gotten are the prototype pictures that were leaked and this concept picture below.

They previously teased this picture back in October 2019 but did not confirm whether that will be their next foldable phone concept. But it seems they have moved much more forward than we thought with the prototype picture shared online.

And now, a secret CES meeting in 2020 has revealed that the company is releasing this new foldable phone, dubbed the Galaxy Bloom instead of Galaxy Fold 2. It also won’t have plastic-like Galaxy Fold, but glass screen called ‘UTG’ or ultra-thin glass.

CEO Dj Koh also added that this design was inspired by cosmetic products by Lancôme with their clamshell-style powder cases. While most people may call this a flip-phone style, Samsung tries to differentiate by calling it a clam-style. Based on their story, this new foldable model will also be aimed at female users.

But nothing else was disclosed and it won’t be at least until February 11 before they reveal anything more during their Unpacked event.
