Horrified Netflix Viewers Are Saying ‘The Hole In The Ground’ Is The Scariest Movie Of 2019

Netflix’s viewers are left terrified about the new movie The Hole in the Ground, with many dubbing it as one of the scariest movies of 2019.

Directed by Lee Cronin, the recognized Irish movie features Seana Kerslake as Sarah, a young woman who observed a disturbing change in her son’s attitude after wandering into the woods and coming in contact with a mysterious sinkhole.

Having its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January and released in the Cinemas in March, the film has further discovered its success since its initial release on Netflix.

Accordingly, many fans have praised the film for its foreboding atmosphere and actors’ performances. Specifically, Author Colm Tobin applauded the film on Twitter with a tweet that reads: ‘Saw The Hole In The Ground’ on Netflix last night, it’s a proper Irish Horror with great performances. It’s beautifully shot with an atmospheric score. Check it out!’



Another die-hard fan wrote: ‘The Hole In The Ground is on UK Netflix and it’s my top 10 best movie this year. Go in blind and trust me, it’s very excellent.’
