Netflix Releases Their Interview With ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic

He had some curious questions answered.

He may be serving a 22-year-sentence and can’t actually feel the fame his name has been receiving from ‘Tiger King’ docuseries. But he knows he’s getting famous and decided to give some answers on the series on an interview with Netflix before he was moved to a different facility.

The roadside zookeeper Joseph Maldonado-Passage had a intense battle with Carole Baskin. He’s crazier than a man who enjoys the company of lions and other wild animals.

“You know it would be nice if I could actually see me being famous out there,” Passage answered on how he felt seeing himself getting popular. “But I’ve seen the same four walls for a year and a half now.”

He also had a little suggestion for his fans.

“Go sit in a cage with your animals for a week,” he said. “When I left the zoo and sent my chimpanzees to the sanctuary in Florida and imagined what my chimpanzees went through for 18 years… I’m ashamed of myself,” he continued as he got teary-eyed.

He also said that he ‘can’t thanks his husband enough’ even though they were only married for 8 months before he was arrested.

Joe himself also said that he’s over with this whole feud with Carole Baskin. He wants to focus on getting out as a free man and ‘exonerated from all these charges’.
