MrBeast Is Recreating ‘Squid Game’ In Real Life And People Can’t Hold It
Did he failed to get the point of the movie or…?
South Korea’s filmography has become a worldwide sensation twice with their remarkable storytelling with capitalism and its evil roots. They did it first with ‘Parasite,’ and most recently, it is the comedic, death game series ‘Squid Game.’
Mr. Beast, the YouTuber, brought the game to life and shared that he’s invested $3 million for the video.
The teaser video shows some really remarkably similar sets to the original series both in terms of design and scale.
Mr. Beast updated that the video would be up sometime early next week.
He also shared that 456 participants are also invited to the game, just like in the movie. They’ll compete in the same games that players were made to play in the show. But there’ll obviously be no death involved, and losers will just be asked to leave. Nicely.
However, in light of the money he’s shed, many people were criticizing him for splurging on recreating the game instead of donating them.
But there are also people reminding others that he’s also dubbed as the “most philanthropist YouTuber” for having donated more than $100 million for various causes.
He’s also currently raising funds to clean up 30 million pounds of trash from the ocean. That is on top of him occasionally giving out hundreds of thousands of dollars to small streamers and donating for food to help those in need.
