Mom Who Plans To Breastfeed Her Daughter Until She’s 6 Hits Back At Trolls

Jacy Campbell recently shared her breastfeeding plans for her one-year-old daughter Emmy on TikTok. While her video garnered over a 1.8million views and still counting, trolls are continually targeting the 20-Year-Old over a claim that she would breastfeed Emmy until she’s six-year-old. Most of her audience are now calling out the Certified Lactation Counselor and Birth Doula for “Sexual Assault.”
Jacy’s decision to breastfeed her 1 Y.O. till she turns six has made people accuse her of ‘sexual assault.’
“Your child will resent you for it in the future. At that point it becomes a form of sexual assault,” said a critic.”
One critic said: “Your child will fully resent you for it in the future. At that point, it becomes a form of sexual assault.” Another aired their opinion: “You’d have to be one sick MF to plan to breastfeed until she’s six.” Some comments agreed it was harmful to her child and morally wrong. A few also branded the Texas-based “Nasty.”
Jacy replied: “Just because you sexualize breasts, doesn’t mean a child does.”

She also wrote that there are a plethora of health benefits of breastfeeding for mum and baby.
“That should be illegal,” One person also wrote. Displeased with the comments, the mom replied: “Extended breastfeeding is not sexual assault; there’s nothing sexual about a child eating. Just because you sexualize breasts doesn’t mean a child does. A child is eating; they use you for nourishment. You don’t even have kids, stop.”
While some were supportive, fellow shocked parents rushed to the comments and insisted 6 is too old.
Someone even blamed Jacy, saying: “At this point, there’s something wrong with the parent.”
Taking to the comments, Jacy buttressed her point, saying: “There are a plethora of health benefits for mom/baby, and quite frankly, I don’t feel like I have to justify it to you based on your rude comment.” Thankfully, some people emerged to voice their support for Jacy and even shared their own stories of breastfeeding successes.
However, the new mom has been open about her parenting online.

And as seen, it’s safe to say she’s a proud advocate for breastfeeding.
One wrote: “You are doing great, momma.” Another said: “What is wrong with people? A child is not sexualizing their primary food source.” While a third commenter agreed, saying: “I met a Guatemalan woman and her child who breastfed that long; I plan to go that long too! It’s incredibly beneficial.”
Many commenters were left horrified with Jacy wanting to breastfeed her child until she turns six.
But some people came out in support of Jacy’s decision.
