Mom Teaches ‘Ungrateful’ Daughter A lesson After She Throws Pencil Case In The Trash

Most humans tend to take a lot of things for granted. With our mind preoccupied with the things we don’t have, it results in making one miserable in the long run. It’s best to fight strong and one good way to rebel against such negativity is by reminding oneself to appreciate as well as value the little things we have.

Here’s A Case Study: Haley Hassel recently bought for her daughter, Presleigh from Cantonment, Florida, a Pencil Box and expected her little girl would love it. Instead, her daughter said the Pencil Box was stupid since a lot of her classmates already used it.

Fighting her daughter’s anger, Haley then came up with a brilliant way to give Presleigh a wake-to-reality call. The mother got her a Ziploc Bag, after which she shared the reasons behind her actions on Facebook.

With other parents applauding her thinking, Haley’s post has garnered over 134K likes and has been posted to numerous social media platforms.

‘Her grandparents and teachers would say she’s a perfect angel, but everyone who gets to know her true colors knows she can be a little firecracker who loves riding horses, dance and sing. She also wants to be a YouTube star.  She made a Channel when she was 4, but haven’t really ever made videos.’ Haley said.

Speaking to Bored Panda in an Interview, Haley added: ‘She’s actually very understanding and resilient. It has been only me and her and as a single mom working full time and in nursing school up until graduating in 2018, I couldn’t be with her as much as I wanted. She always understood and tells me how much she loves me.’

Nevertheless, the Surprise Pencil Box went to a family in Arkansas along with other supplies. A mom wrote to Haley revealing she couldn’t afford any supplies for her kids to start school with.
