Mom Marched Bully Son To Girl’s House To Apologize For Calling Her ‘Fat’ And ‘Ugly’
“Calling her fat, calling her ugly… I was fuming.”
A single mom was praised after she made her son apologize for insulting a classmate from his class. Samm Jane was “fuming” when the teachers told her that her 12-year-old boy sent really cruel messages to a fellow pupil.
The angry mom immediately demanded the son’s cellphone and was flabbergasted to see the content.
She recalled, “This poor girl, not gonna say her name. He’s only messaged her the harshest things you can say to any female. And I mean harsh.”
“Calling her fat, calling her ugly… I was fuming.”
She shared the content of the messages and one of them read, “I never want to see your ugly face in school. Your ugly face and fat body offend me.”
The girl called him out, saying that he was “actually out of order.” But Samm’s 12-year-old boy continued with his insults at the girl in a barrage of text messages.
At one point, the girl’s text read, “Stop being horrible to me.”
Her son, instead, sent a voice note that says, “Urgh, you’re disgusting.”
Samm, whose vision was red from anger, asked her son, “What are you playing at?”
Her son told her, “She does my head in at school.”
But Samm doesn’t tolerate his act and said, “I don’t give a f**k.”
“I told him, ‘She’s going to be looking in the mirror now and feeling so insecure.’ I couldn’t let it go,” recalled Samm.
The single mom, who’s based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, admitted, “Now I’m a single mum, and raising a boy to be a man is quite difficult.”
“But if there’s one thing I’ve always said, it’s ‘You f**king respect these women, you don’t disrespect them.’ So even though he’s eleven years old and a kid, nothing he can say to me will justify what he said to this girl. Ever.”
She made her son spend the money from her birthday gift on flowers and chocolate, marched him to her house, and made him apologize.
And it’s not just a simple sorry. She made him explain clearly what he was apologizing for, and not just to her, but also to her parents, who later admitted that they didn’t know anything of the sort until he came.
Her dad told him, “I’m not going to lie, mate, if you were a grown-*ss man and you said that to my daughter, I would have kicked your head in.”
Her mom later texted Samm and thanked her for being a “decent parent.”
Thousands of users have been praising the mother’s discipline that doesn’t allow her love for her son made her be negligent of his mistakes.
“I sat Dave down and explained how people kill themselves or self-harm because of what people say,” she continued. “I’ve always told him about body positivity, about how women come in different shapes and sizes. That’s why I was so angry – why would he say all these things when I’ve told him to be respectful?”
After her clip went viral, she explained her reason for sharing the story, “I wanted to share it so other people could see it and think, ‘I don’t want my boy to be like that.'”
“We’ve got to bring up the next generation. It’d be so much easier if parents taught their boys – and girls – to apologize and to make up. If a million people have seen that video, then a million parents can make a change.”

The son now has his phone confiscated for a whole week and he’s even tried bribing his mom to get it back. He celebrated his birthday just fine. Only, without his phone.
