Model Hits The Catwalk At 57 And Proves Age Is Just A Number
She ages like fine wine.
Age affects us all and is a factor that nobody can change. But it should not be the wall that stops you from pursuing your dream. Kathy Jacobs, a 57-year-old gorgeous model, proves that age shouldn’t stop you from chasing after your dream.
Green Lemon loves the confidence this woman is showing and would like to share the positive vibes with our readers!
The Californian woman is many things – she is an actress, an entrepreneur, as well as a model.
Like many models who are outside the sample size or age, Kathy breaks the common strict standards the modeling world has with her 5’3 height.
Her page is always about motivating women of all shapes, sizes, and ages to never give up on their passion.
Kathy herself has modeled before in 1991 for Ford, but it never really became anything, until she auditioned for Sports Illustrated.
“This is my FIRST red carpet at 57 years old! I was so grateful for this moment I was holding back tears as I walked out,” she shared on Instagram.
The 57-year-old shares that she loves exercising, often riding her bike, and encourages others to find an exercise they love, too!
She once shared, “Just start where you are at right now! That’s what I remind myself of when I feel like I haven’t hit my fitness goals! I’m going to reward myself today for trying! Hope it helps you too!!”
She got to walk the red carpet and be on Sports Illustrated at the age of 57. All the dreams are achieved when she’s almost 60!
Kathy was interviewed last year and shared, “I just want to show the world what 56 means. You know, it’s not like I’m ready to roll over and play dead because I’ve still got a lot more inside of me to do.”
Of course, to be featured in the magazine was such a huge impact that affect readers of both older and younger generations. She commented, “I feel like being in this magazine not only helps other women my age but younger girls too.”
“Everyone’s so terrified about getting older. I’ve had so many younger girls message me and say, ‘Thank you so much for doing this because I’m not terrified of getting older anymore. I know my life is not going to end once I reach 30, 40, 50, or 60.’”
