Lion With Straight Bang In China Zoo Sparks Questioning From Visitors
He was looking like a bandmate from The Beatles.
A viral picture of a white lion from the Guangzhou Zoo had got people questioning if it’s got a haircut from the zookeeper. The mane of the male apex predator had appeared to be so hilariously straightened they look like proper bangs.
These pictures were shared by a visitor on the Xiaohongshu site.
Comments on the viral pictures had got a lot of people laughing because of how much of a ‘derp’ he looked like. But others got more serious and wondered if the zookeeper had purposely done this to the lion – and possibly to other lions as well.
One wrote, “Omg SHAME on who did that and its NOT normal!”
“You can tell from the look on his face that he’s not happy!!” read another angry comment.
Another pointed out, “He looks embarrassed.”
But the zoo officially denied ever doing anything like that in a statement released to the news outlet Guangdong.
Explaining the situation, the differing mane some lions have were all the results of their own behavior.
They claim that they would never dare to cut it themselves and wish every visitor can enjoy the beauty of the unique characteristics of wildlife.
