Latest Bizarre Trend Sees Women Use Lip Fillers To Create Devil-Inspired Pouts

The latest beauty trend to have swept UK’s Instagram and social media platforms is possibly the most bizarre yet, called ‘Devil Lips’. Some have believed this trend originates in Russia and now, doctors are warning Brits on the risk of getting this new look.

This is a semi-permanent procedure where one injects lip fillers to create a frilly effect on the lips. The ‘unnatural’ procedure (not that anything involving fillers is ever natural) is even said to be able to leave long-lasting effects. Your lips will never go back to the way they were before.

The trend went viral and has reached the UK’s social media platform.

Dr. Krystyna London-based Cosmetic Dentist and Facial Aesthetician commented on this ‘Devil Lips’ procedure: “Filler injected inappropriately could end up in blood vessels, causing blockages and leading to necrosis (death) of the tissue.  The vessels are around the lips, so using filler inappropriately is what can cause this.

Thankfully, the Internet’s reaction is also negative. We’re going to see this trend going downhill pretty quickly. Hopefully.
