Katy Perry Gushes Over Fiancé Orlando Bloom’s Ex-Wife After Presenting Award
“Many of you may be confused.”
Orlando Bloom’s fiancee Katy Perry can’t help but gushes over Miranda Kerr, Bloom’s former wife. The 38-year-old had presented the Excellence in the Arts Award to the Australian model and posed next to each other on the red carpet.
“Many of you may be confused as to why I’m presenting Miranda with this award,” she gave her speech.
“It doesn’t fit the ex-wife, new wife narrative. Many in the media would like to see us mud wrestle… but this is about love, and Miranda is love.”
“‘I’m so grateful for our modern blended family. It’s like I gained another sister, one with whom I usually sidebar from the main family chat and agree with.”
Katy Perry has been engaged since 2019 to Orland Bloom before giving birth to their first child, Daisy Drove.
The “Dark Horse” singer posed next to Miranda Kerr and stirred up the crowd. The mom-of-one was in a champagne gold matching bralette and flowing skirt. While Kerr looked glamorous in a white midi-dress that showed off her figure.
The pair looked close as they posed next to each other for the pictures.
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom were the “it” couple and got married in 2010 before welcoming their son together in 2011. They broke up in 2013.
A year later, the Sydney-born model met Evan Spiel, her current husband, at a Louis Vuitton event. The two hit it up pretty well as news of their engagement broke the next year and they got married in May 2017.
Both of them have two children together.
Kerr later spoke at Drew Barrymore Show that she and Perry has been very close as they try to parent Flynn together. The mom-of-three said, “We really do always think of what is the best thing for Flynn, and I just think that’s the most important thing.”
Flynn is now 12 years old and is the eldest of his half-siblings.
And despite the history that existed between them, Perry still regarded Kerr as her “sister from another mister.”
