Justin Sylvester Pushes Jenna Bush Hager Away For Getting Too Close, Video Goes Viral
It was an awkward interaction.
On a recent episode of the TODAY show, Justin Sylvester set quite a boundary, pushing off Jenna Bush Hager after she appeared to get a little close for comfort. The Daily Pop star was receiving instructions for making chicken when Jenna, 40, patted his back & placed an arm on his shoulders.
Justin, 35, instantly leaned out of the way and, as seen in a viral video, used one arm to push her away.
Jenna laughed at the diss and stepped back just as close to Justin. But as the Sisters First author continued to touch the Beverly Hills Nannies alum back despite his arm being aloft between them, he eventually glanced up, smiled, and pushed her out of the way once again.
In response, Jenna backed up & raised her eyebrows at the cameras.
Expectedly, NBC viewers have since bashed the incident, with one calling Jenner’s actions not cool at all and urging her to keep her hands to herself henceforth. One person wrote: “He literally defined his personal space, and she forced herself into it.” Another said: “He was clearly uncomfortable and kept trying to push her off politely.”
The episode also saw Jenna breaking down on Jenna’s recent St. Tropez vacation photos.
“That thirst trap is looking, like perfect. You look like you belong in St. Tropez,” Jenna, who has been married to Henry Chase Hager since 2018, told Sylvester. However, Justin – who often appears alongside Jenna and Hoda Kotb, has since clarified that his co-star wasn’t invading his space.
“That’s not actually the truth,” Justin explained, calling Jenna the “nicest” person. He added: “What we were doing was we were both flirting. Well, I was flirting with the chef because he was cute, and I was pushing her out of the way so I could have a one-on-one moment with the chef.”
