Jordan Peterson Doubles Down On Elliot Page Criticism
“For everyone person we hypothetically save, we doom 1000 more.”
Conservative author and psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson has insisted he needed to speak up following Elliot Page’s shirtless show on Esquire’s summer issue last month. He had actually been suspended from Twitter for saying Page had his breasts removed by a criminal physician.
In defense, Jordan reiterated the latter and claimed Hollywood’s biggest transgender star was converting children by posing for photos with his abs.
Interestingly, Jordan referred to Page as female and even used his former name, Ellen, as he defended his attack in an interview with podcaster Kyle Kulinski on his Krystal Kyle & Friends show. “See, I would’ve left Ellen Page alone if she hadn’t been parading her new abs in a fashion magazine. How many kids do you think she convinced to convert, one? A Thousand.” Jordan said.
In his argument, Kulinski said: “I think that with the Trans community, it’s very similar to the gay community where back, when that first became a big issue, people thought Oh if we talk about it, if it’s in the magazine or whatever, we’re promoting kids to do down that path.”
The podcaster continued: “But what really happened is people are who they are. They’re gay. So I don’t think you’re promoting people to do that.” At this point, Jackson got infuriated, refuted Kulinski’s claims, and yelled: “No, that’s not what happened. You’re completely wrong. You’re utterly wrong. There’s nothing about that’s right.”
He pointed out Canada’s 2017 c-16 bill, which added Trans pronouns to the Canadian Human Rights Act and added the community into a list of identifiable groups protected from discrimination.
Jackson had actively opposed the bill and said he would decline to use Tran’s pronouns. He insisted that rather than aiding the Trans community, it would allegedly deteriorate the mental health of others. “For every one person we hypothetically save, we doom 1000 more as a consequence of confusion and social contagion,” he told Kulinski.
The author reiterated claims that confused gay kids were supposedly being convinced they’re transgender as the community becomes more visible and talked about.
Regarding his Twitter suspension, Jackson shared it was barely a punishment. He said boldly: “Well, I don’t know if it got me into trouble, you know, I don’t think I’m in trouble, Twitter banned me, but I consider that trouble.” However, his tweet of June 22nd was released on the same day, season three of the Netflix show “The Umbrella Academy,” which had integrated Page’s transition.
