‘He’s Not My Grandpa, He’s My Husband!’ Couple Insist 32-Year Age Gap Isn’t An Issue After Falling In Love

A married couple has made known that their 32-year  age difference is not a problem notwithstanding the fact he is repeatedly taken for being her grandpa.

Husband Tom, 70, and wife Stacey Crutchfield, 38, from the Homestead, Florida, has been together for about four years now.

Their love story began when Stacey started to work on Tom’s reptile farm, where the couple actually lives and works together. But regardless of being happily married, they still come across their fair share of judgment when out in public.

‘There’s a lady that some times come to us and hit on Tom, saying you“you have a very beautiful granddaughter. At times people mistake Tom for my dad a little but I have just learnt not to think about other people’s opinions. I am not going to allow them to destroy the love of my life and happiness.’ Stacey said.

Their love story began when Stacey started to work on Tom’s reptile farm, where the couple actually lives and works together

Also speaking, Tom admitted it’s the best thing that has ever happened to him in a very long time. ‘I am super excited. We are well aware that we won’t have much time as some others would have together, but we will make the best out of whatever time we have. there’s a singular way of living it and that’s a day at a time. I am not scared of dying.  I am afraid of not living enough while being alive.’ Tom added.

Tom and Stacey, for the time being, are, however, happy to enjoy the quality time together on the farm and have admitted being happier than ever

The retired professional herpetologist became close to Stacey when she resumed work on his farm. Accordingly, Stacy had earlier contacted Tom via Facebook in 2010 when her Iguana needed urgent medical help.

Tom and Stacey, for the time being, are, however, happy to enjoy the quality time together on the farm and have admitted being happier than ever.
